Craigslist ticket scam: Sarah Wilkin

I hate to admit it but I got scammed on Craigslist Seattle when trying to buy concert tickets and the only benefit was that the person has three emails which hopefully will get indexed so if people search, they will know that there was a scam.

I posted a Craigslist post asking for two tickets for a concert.  A woman named Sarah Wilkins responded via text but with her email of: sarahraewilkins@mail.com (should have known) saying that she had four tickets but wouldn’t be home in time to use them.  She immediately asked for my email to “transfer them” to me even before telling me how much they cost (I didn’t put my asking price in the posting).  She then asked if I knew people who wanted the other two (to try and get me to spend more).

She sent me a link to my gmail account for Google Pay requests.  I took about 10 minutes to respond but before I did, she followed up saying that  she had another person that was interested in buying 3 (I should have known that she was putting artificial pressure on me).  She sent me a request from Google Pay from this email:  wilkins.sarah234uahlaw.edu@gmail.com

I didn’t have Google Pay setup so I then asked her if she accepted Paypal.  She said yes and gave me this address – Wilkins1Backup.Sarah@Gmail.com  I sent her the money as “friends and family” (it isn’t secured) and she said she would send me the TicketExchange.  She didn’t send anything for an hour and so I checked back.  At the same time, I got a text from Paypal saying that they suspected a fraud transaction.  I then emailed her asking about it and she said:  “If you snatch the payment I won’t send them that’s like you scamming me”.  I then tried to calm her down but she finally said “Hey I’ll just refund you and sell the 3”.  She never did though.   I rejected the money on Paypal (no guarantee of getting it back) and she said that she couldn’t refund me the money.

If you are dealing with someone on Cragislist that has any of these email addresses, I would caution you away from doing business with her.

Update 1/16/2018: “she” just left a moderated comment on the blog saying the following:

“All of y’all some Bitches, I’m bussing Necks all 2018 .”

I didn’t approve it but it was sent from the following email address: wilkins.Sarahbranchagencies@gmail.com

Update 2/28: “she” used wilkins.sarahfloor@mail.com as the email to pay from another person.

New names: Riley Wilkins and Suzanne Wilkins

  1. Thank you for posting this. “Sarahraewilkins@mail.com” is still at it, as of December 2017 — this time, with Hamilton tickets in Chicago. I found this article and we confronted him/her.

      1. I filled out a case form for PayPal, but got too impatient and called them yesterday after searching a while for their customer service number. Had great customer service and shared that this blog exists w/ many people sharing their encounters. Make sure to express hesitation for using paypal again and you should get your refund either way after the call. The sooner you call the better though!

    1. she is still at it as of today….I was emailing her back and forth and she started getting very anixous and swearing at me. So at that moment I googled Sara Wilkins Craigslist ticket scams. I was thankful I did! Thank you for putting this out there for me to find.

the email she used with me was sarahraewilkins@mail.com

      STAY AWAY from her!

      1. I just got scammed for NYE tickets. Rileywilkins@mail.com was the email used. I really wish I saw this blog BEFORE paying! I was able to trace the account to Compass Bank based in Alabama, and it was an Alabama number that was linked in Zelle. With the number of people scammed in here, I’m willing to try to get legal professionals involved. This person has made tons of money off us and gets away with it because $300 means nothing to the banks. I don’t see how someone can live this way… such a sad life to live.

          1. For real. The fact that PayPal refuses to do anything is ridiculous. I tried to reach out to a lawyer but had no luck.

  2. I googled this email address and came to this post. Thanks for letting us know, “she” is still at it.

        1. Dispute it immediately on PayPal or whatever other service you paid with. Point them to this blog post as well as proof that this is happening a lot

  3. She just tried me when I was looking for Johnny Mathis tickets. Same thing, “We won’t be back in time”, She offered best seats in the house for the mezzanine ticket prices! Then sent me an invoice to google pay account “with tickets attached” Also, there were 4 people in line. When I saw the invoice, I told her I was uncomfortable and to call me. THEN she got nasty and threatening. I changed my google password right then. DO NOT open an attachement to your google if you get one after her. I was lucky.

  4. Damnn Sarah, Back at it again with the Nashville Preds tickets 2018. New year still no new email…

  5. Thanks so much for taking the time to warn us about “her” . I almost purchased a few tickets for her just a few minutes ago. Personable through text, not robotic like I would’ve expected from a scammer who communicates this way day in and day out. On a hunch I decided to run her email name without the.com behind it ,she popped right up in your article. You’re right – she’s good.
    Thank you!!!!!!

  6. I just got scammed by this same person on Craigslist! Same exact story pretty much. I transferred money to her for 2 tickets via paypal friends and family. Never got anything back. She used sarahraewilkins@mail.com and sarahwilkins.branchagencies@gmail.com

How do we stop this madness?! I wrote to Craigslist and haven’t heard anything back. I refuted the charge with paypal and finally reported it to my bank.
I also posted a “beware of this scammer” email on Craigslist.
I really want to stop this fool. I was buying tickets for a show in Brooklyn (though I’m based in Portland Ore). She must be making thousands from people all over the country!!!!

    1. I just got scammed this weekend as well. Did you yourself report to your bank or did PayPal? I filled out a unauthorized activity claim but wondering where else on PayPal I was to escalate the case?

All in all did you end up getting your money back?

    2. I was thinking about contacting mail.com, I also contacted paypal with her information and actually included this thread. I was also thinking that we set up a Facebook group so that when you search her name or emails on FB, it comes up as well.

      1. Also, I am going to contact Replyall the podcast and see if they can help investigate and get to the bottom of why there is literally no course of action to catch this fool.

  7. I just got scammed by this person!!! Almost the same exact details except that I was buying tickets for a show in Brooklyn.
    She used sarahraewilkins@mail.com and sarahwilkinsbranchagencies@gmail.com

I’ve written to paypal, Craigslist and refuted the charge with my bank. I also posted a “buyer beware” ad on Craigslist.
How do we stop this monster?! She must be making thousands off people all over the country!

  8. Got scammed from her as well…working with Paypal right now to get my money back… I was purchasing Knicks tickets. She sent me the tickets and invoice, etc…So I thought she was legite. Should have entered her information first and found this article…my dumb mistake, but Karma is a Bitch….Good luck to you all

    1. Sorry to the others who got scammed by her this month! This is truly an issue worth pursuing. I still haven’t heard back from Paypal or Craigslist but I reported it as fraud through my bank and got the money back.

Maybe the more people comment on this thread the easier it will be to find in a google search.

    2. Hi Lisa, what did you do through PayPal to get your money back? Working on the same issue and wondering if I need to talk to my bank directly or just PayPal

      1. K, I just called Paypal directly. I filled out the form, but that can take up to two weeks. I called Paypal and my money was back within an hour.

  9. I got the message today when trying to buy tickets. I appreciate you writing this post–saved me the hassle of even responding!

  10. I just got scammed by this same person via Venmo (Sarah-Wilkins-Love). I should have checked her other transactions but again, she seemed like a normal person over text. This makes me so sad that someone would do this. Has anyone had any progress of shutting her down? I have contacted Venmo and my bank to dispute the charges so hopefully will get them returned but I don’t want her to be able to do this to anyone else!

  11. This just happened to me!! I took a screenshot of this thread including her email and sent it to her then blocked that phish. SO RUDE

  12. Thanks so much for this post! I was saved from one of Sarah Rae Wilkins ‘s scams by a quick Google search which led me here. She had texted me presumably via a Wanted craigslist ad I had posted for concert tickets. I will be reporting the incident, and perhaps if enough of us do so, “she” will eventually pay for her actions.

  13. She almost scammed me today! Thanks for this article!
She was using the phone number 256-251-0128.
Attempted to use Circle for payment.
Thank you again for posting the article.

  14. I just had the nicest encounter with Sarah Rae Wilkins. She was messaging my phone number from email. Only giveaway I need to know she was fake. So I lead her on for a good hour. Trying to pick up any information to figure out the real person. However after no luck, I called her out. She sent me to this website. So we talked about toothlesshokkers and skull f***ing for the next hour on 5 different number. She was definitely shook up after I let my enjoyment of horror shows take a hold of the conversation. Anyways, was a lot of fun. I am glad this site is up to help people out.

  15. Same exact thing JUST happened to me that you described in this article. Sarah responded to my craigslist ad wanting tickets to an event. Said she had 4 tickets and “wouldn’t be back in time” to go to the event. I only needed 2 so “she” asked if anyone I knew needed some as well. She would ONLY text, not answer the phone. The voicemail on the phone was also a completely different name that who she said she was. When I asked her about it she said “oh, I just got this new number.” Sent me an invoice for $200 via “circle,” I said I wasn’t comfortable with sending money that way. I said I want to do what’s best and most secure for both parties, which is to use PayPal. She said she “wouldn’t accept goods or services for Etickets.” I sent her the $200 BUT I clicked the spot that verified to PayPal that this money was being sent in exchange for goods and services. She immediately refunded me my money, became very nasty and said I did the complete opposite of what she told me to do. Stated that it was ME scamming HER and when I said I reported her she called me a “dimwit” and said I deserved a trophy. To which my reply was, “you’re damn right I deserve a trophy, for figuring out that you’re a scammer!” There was no way I’d send money that wasn’t secure to someone I didn’t know. I’m glad I followed my gut and knew “she” was a scammer.

This is the email address she used (which was also different than her name): Wilkins.mikejohn88@gmail.com

This is the number she was using: (256) 251-0048

      1. You’re not Boonk, idiot. Just know you helped me get a lot closer to figuring out who you are idiot. Oh and know that my sister is high ranking on the police dept so I’ll ensure she has someone look into this lmao

  16. Thanks, she tried it again to sell us Warriors ticket today. I am glad you started and recorded as blog post here.

  17. “Sarah” just tried me – $60pp for tickets to Christian Scott at Harlem Stage in NYC. Wilkins.SarahRae63@gmail.com. Fortunately, I Googled her name just before making the PayPal deal, and found this post. Boy is she pissed!

    1. Just happened to me too. I sent her a text saying Karma is a bitch. Same number and email. She tried to get me to send the money over and over. I googled the number and here I am. Live and learn I guess

      1. The money is still in my account so I am going to call my bank and see if I can put a hold on it. Cross fingers

      2. I tried to do this with paypal too. My bank put a stop on the transaction, but that put my paypal account in the negative when they tried to withdraw the funds. Paypal then threatened to send me to a collections agency unless I paid my balance, which forced me into paying it to help this scammer continue to operate 🙁

  18. Hey- so a ton of us have gotten caught in this scam and paypal refuses to do anything about it. At this point I think it is negligence on the side of Paypal for refusing to stop this person from scamming us or providing adequate protection for it to stop.
Anyone know any lawyers or know anything about starting a class action suit?

    1. I don’t know what the next steps might be. If this many people are commenting in, I can’t even imagine how many people this person is stealing from. The other question though is why isn’t Craigslist doing anything about it?

      1. Craigslist is just the communications channel. It is not their responsibility. Paypal is the one who is transferring the money. They have the ability to reverse the transactions. It is on them.

  19. Yep, she’s certainly still at it. Just pinged me with the same story of not getting home in time and immediately asked for my email to transfer the tickets. That’s a red flag off the bat. I didn’t respond because I wanted to check some things online first, but in less than 20 min she replied again accusing ME of being a scammer because I didn’t promptly respond. I said that was funny and was away from my computer. She was completely rude told me off. I did a quick search of her email “sarahraewilkins@mail.com” and this site was at the top. I told her a quick search shows she’s a fraud and to go get a real job. It’s unfortunately she’s duped so many.

I received a text from someone else who is claiming to have tickets to transfer but purchased them from another 3rd party ticket re-seller. They also ask for name & email address in order to “transfer tickets”. They sent me a screen shot that looks legitimate, but it’s still questionable.

The key here is to be skeptical of anyone unwilling to meet locally in person. Sure, you can transfer tickets electronically these days, print at home, etc., so it’s so much easier to scam or be scammed. Protect yourself, ask that they show evidence they have the tickets (although this can be faked, too), don’t accept them sending you an invoice to pay online when you have to click to go to a web site or especially to sign up for a new account. Best case, ask them to meet you in person with physical tickets or printouts of the tickets, get information and/or a “bill of sale” in writing, and if they’re doing an actual ticket transfer via Ticketmaster, you can watch them do it or get it set up in person on a laptop or phone before handing over your money.

  20. I’m reaching out to law firms to look to find someone who may be willing to represent us in a class action law suit against paypal for knowing allowing this scammer to operate.
Hopefully something will come of it. Will let you guys know. If you are interested, please reply.

    1. This is so great! I definitely think she deserves more than “bad karma”. If you’re willing to do the research it would be much appreciated. 🙂

    2. Same party — I purchased 4 NCAA Wrestling Championship tickets Mar 21-23,2019– final cost – Sellers Riley and. Sarah ( Angel- Suzanne). Was$4940.00

Would be interested in catching both of them

      1. I am interested in being a part of this.
For my daughter, using my account it was zelle and chase bank that wouldn’t help

  21. I posted on craigslist earlier looking for concert tickets. She text me today from the same email saying she had 4. I was almost gonna go through with it until I saw it was a @mail instead of @gmail. Something told me to enter the email in google and here I am. Your stories saved me. Thanks yall. Sorry it happened to you.

  22. Wish I would’ve seen this… she scammed me as well, exact same story as noted above 4 tickets for sale. I sent her a PayPal then she refunded it and requested via google pay. Alas, I lost 50 bucks. How can we stop her?
    J

  23. Same scam. Number was 256 251 0382. When she gets caught each of our above comments will help in conviction as a separate and individual fraud offense. Feel good that fraudsters ALWAYS get caught and put in jail. They aren’t smart enough to avoid it. Being legitimately dumb and uneducated is part of their disease.

  24. This Sarah (so called) Wilkins tried this on me today via Craigslist. Kings tickets for game 3 in LA. Thank God my gut said not to follow through. Then this person started calling me a scam for requesting a phone call or use of Paypal via her scam Ticketmaster season ticket account. The transaction scenario went exactly as you described it. Crazy. Thank you Chris Keating for sharing. You very much helped me when I did a search on this shady individual.

  25. I also just almost got scammed her by, trying to buy tickets to an event in DC. Thank you so much for sharing this!!

  26. I just got a text from 256-251-0382 and she did the same thing to me but I was smart enough to google her number and came across your blog. Thanks for saving me the headache. I called her out and she laughed it off. What a loser…

  27. I almost got scammed by this person in the Dallas, Texas area via craigslist. Multiple times she accused me of scamming her for being inquisitive, to help me believe her story. Same deal as those listed above. I will post brow every contact she tried using.

  28. Someone texted me from the mentioned phone# yesterday saying they had tickets to a concert that is sold out. I had advertised on Craigslist Las Vegas that I am looking for tix to this concert. Texter suggested they would transfer the tix to me. When I simply asked about the procedure and the safety of it texter became weird and belligerent. Asked me if I’m calling them a scammer. Whereupon I googled the # and found your article. Thanks!

  29. Hello – I am sad to say I am the newest member of this club.

Trying to buy tickets to Highwater Festival Low Tide Social and posted a “WTB” ad on CraigsList Charleston SC.

Transferred money by PayPal and got nothing in return.

    New email = WilkinsPhotography37@gmail.com

    Phone number the same = (256) 251-0382

I should know better, but fell for it anyway, and feel so dumb.

I have conducted many successful and legit transactions for tickets over the years using CraigsList, PayPal, TicketMaster exchange, etc

“one bad apple spoils the whole bunch”

Good luck and be safe out there – always ask for verification and Google names, numbers, email addresses, etc

  30. Latest number: +1 (256) 251-0328
    Latest email: WilkinsPhotography37@gmail.com

I’m not going to be foolhardy enough to believe that Sarah Wilkins (such a gangster-ass name!) will be caught any time soon, but the more Google-able, the better!

In-person only, folks! And even then, use yer noggin.

“Sarah”: energy and karma are real, that’s one thing I KNOW, and that’s all I’m gonna say. And if you really do live in Alabama, well that’s punishment enough.

    1. UPDATE: Google Pay reversed the charges within about an hour of contacting them by phone. No money for you, “Sarah.”

If this happens to you, contact the transaction facilitator (PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay) IMMEDIATELY. Call your bank. Call your credit card company. It seems that this will give you the greatest chance of getting your money back. I disputed the charge via an email to Google Pay as soon as I realized what had happened, and then followed up with a phone call about 12 hours later.

They also take note of the email address used to receive payment, and disable it immediately, as well.

It’s always shitty to know that scammers are real, but good to know that there is some recourse, and you can beat them at their own game – you just have to act quickly. Good luck!

      1. I also was scammed for this today. Seems like if it happens to you, you can issue a refund via paypal or through your bank and they seemed confident that you will get your money back. Wish I got this blog sooner. 🙂

  31. This person almost got me today! Posted on Craigslist in Charlottesville, VA and they texted asking for my email right away. Face value for tickets are $15 and they were trying to sell for $60 EACH. Told them we found others for face and wasn’t sure why he was trying to sell for 3x that. Then he continued to tell me I was a “broke ass” and that I should “get some money”. This person should be ashamed for taking advantage of music lovers! Shame on them.

  32. Thank god for this blog. I was 5 minutes from getting taken but had an odd feeling. Found this site and it saved me $300.

I told that them I hope their mother loves them and that she approves what they do.

  33. Just got scammed for 3 tickets in Boulder, CO by wilkinsphotography18@gmail.com. I wish I had found this blog sooner! Called my bank and Paypal immediately and am fortunately not going to lose any money but feel very violated. I just wanted to take my daughter to see a concert 🙁

    1. Hi Emily,

How were you able to not lose any money about this? I tried calling paypal and they refuse to work with me because I authorized it at first and then called back immediately 30 minutes after. Thanks!

  34. Same story here, I was busy at a ball game and watching my niece. Never even fact checked the number. Stupid. It was for my moms mothers day gift too. I hope I can get my money back.

  35. When will she get busted?
Thank you for this lost and saving me from being scammed by this looser.

  36. Reported it to PayPal and my bank, got my money back. Thank you Jesus

    1. Was it your bank or PayPal who refunded you? Telling people exactly what you told your bank/PayPal will help others get their money back as well.

      1. Well, I contacted both, PayPal did rectify the situation. I did tell them it was unauthorized. I mean I didnt authorize someone to steal my money or lie to me. I authorized someone to take my money in exchange for tickets, ya know? Anyways, what a low life to just continuously prey on people and take the money we work hard to earn. Thief.

  37. Holy crap. Still at it. Tried selling Pink tickets in Oakland!!!! I didn’t bite but just for the hell of it I googled the email. Man, whoever this person is is still going strong.

  38. Another one today….Newport folk fest after party tickets. I was excited to go…shucks

  39. Still at it as of 5/22/2018 — Phil Lesh and moe. tickets at Terrapin Crossroads in Sam Rafael, CA. I pointed out this blog post, and she responded with “LOL.” I then told him/her to “Fuck off.” Nothing. She texted from “sarahraewilkins@mail.com

  40. Was able to get the money credited to my card. Thank you AMEX and Paypal for helping. Still mad the person made away with my $50.

  41. Hello all.
I had an encounter with this scum bag. Was looking for tickets to a sporting event. Everything here posted is exactly what I dealt with. The scum bag wanted 100s of dollars. I was somewhat skeptical, so Iwent with $15 to try to get the process going to show that i was serious. I wanted to limit my loss if it turned out to be a scam… and yes it is/was a scam. For me at least I limited my loss. But after a day the scum bag reached out to me and asking if I wanted to still purchase the tickets. At that point I decided to reaxh out to paypal and let them know of the incident. I made a report and the scumbag has to reply to paypal. So far hasnt. At least there is a record of all these things that hqve happened. I will probably get my $$ back. Its a small amount but its more the point. If everybody reports. Maybe it will be shut down

  42. I also got scammed on Sunday May 27th. I posted an ad looking for tickets on craigslist. Still working on resolving the issue with my bank for $100. I would love for an investigator to track this person down. So much bad karma,

  43. Sarahraewilkins@mail.com She/he just tried to scam me as well for Jordan Peterson tickets in Austin. I found this blog and confronted this person and they went full ghetto on me. This was the email address they used for PayPal…

    WilkinsLawFirm78@Gmail.com

Thanks for all who post to stop scamming like this! It just saved me $280.

    #sarahraewilkins@mail.com
    #wilkinslawfirm78@gmail.com

  44. I almost got scammed – but looked this person up afterwards. Yes, very personable – but also very antsy – (“still don’t see the payment” was their response) – this got me suspicious – so I said I was having PayPal problems and offered to meet and give cash – this is when they responded with vulgarities. Who would refuse cash? They did. And above is why – they actually called me a Scammer – and worse. You can add WilkensPhotography53@gmail.com to this list of aliases. Beware!

    1. All, i fought this D-Bag. I made a complaint at Paypal. “Sarah” never replied to paypal. She knew she was caught. Paypal refunded the $$ to me. You do have to go thru their process.

  45. She scammed me today too.
    I should have Googled first.

Now, she’s using this email address:
    WilkinsProduction21@gmail.com

    How can she be stopped?

My first time being scammed on CraigsList too.
I should have known as she was being so hostile.

      1. Did Zelle help you? I’m needing to call my bank, just found out my daughter got scammed and used my account

  46. Just tried to scam us as well on some tedx tickets. Can’t believe this has been going on for years!! How do we make it stop?

  47. Sarah is still at it. She/he tried today July 10, 2018 as I’m trying to get Rays/Twins tickets. Same story-‘won’t make it back in time…’ Dropped ticket prices quickly, immediately asked for my email, accused me of being a scammer because I didn’t respond fast enough, escalated fast! Dropping the f bomb, called me a bitch, etc etc etc. in the end I didn’t fall for the scam, thankfully. I had a bad gut feeling from the start. Sorry she’s scammed some and hope he/she gets what’s deserved, SCAMMER, JERK, CREEPER….

  48. Tried me with Tampa Dave Matthews! I sent her a screen shot of this thread. She said “lol! Is that supposed to be me?” Blocked. Sorry to those of you who she got, but thank you for putting the word out. 256-251-0120 was the number I got. She offered to sell to me for EXACTLY how much i said i was willing to pay, and said “doubt we’ll make it back in time to go.”

  49. Sarah got me, too! I posted a wanted ad for tickets on Craigslist (Sunnyvale, CA). She said they had 4 tickets and, like so many others have said, wouldn’t make it back in time. She even had a screenshot that she attached and said she would only use Zelle and tickets would transfer via Ticketmaster (which was the screenshot she provided). I thought I would be safe because I was under the impression that Zelle is bank to bank, but I was wrong. I sent the money and the texts went silent. I have a case open with Chase (who is working with Zelle). Does anyone have any experience getting reimbursed with Zelle?

    Here’s the latest contact info:

    WilkinsProduction74@gmail.com
    256) 251-0120

Thanks for creating this blog, Chris! It’s a lesson learned for us, but your blog has saved countless others from the same frustration and loss. THANK YOU!!

    1. Will you let me know if chase helps you.
They were very rude to me, even though I gave them all the info, this website etc
I’ve been a chase customer for 8+ years.
      You would think they cared

  50. Just got scammed on ACL wristbands by someone named Riley Wilkins who I am 100% sure is the same person. Same story ” doubt we’ll make it back in time to go. I can transfer them, what’s your email?”, tried to get me to buy 2 passes instead of 1. She wanted me to use Zelle, but I told her I only had PayPal. After the transaction went through she blocked my number and stopped responding.

Reported to PayPal. Posting here to hopefully prevent someone else from getting scammed with her new alias.

  51. Still at it using names riley wilkins and angel barclay on zelle. Phones were 256-225-6813 and 404-543-3813. Has anyone had any success through zelle or their bank?

    1. Chase will not refund a QuickPay/zelle payment. If you want money back, you need to report it as fraud/unauthorized charges. You would think after several people calling zelle/chase the bank would look into this person who has all these cases of fraud against them. Ridiculous.

      1. So upsetting to see this still. I fought tooth and nail with chase and zelle and neither have a crap or did anything. I also contacted bb&t as that’s the bank they told me they used, they also did nothing. I filled a report with the better business bureau, nothing. No one cared and didn’t anything for me but tell me they couldn’t help.
I closed my bank with chase and hopes that the bbb claim would do something, but nothing. Wish these major companies cared since we have so much proof and detast

      2. Alex

Who do you report it to as fraud /unauthorized charges to? Chase, zelle, bb&t (the bank I was told “Sarah used” and the better business bureau all did nothing for me, despite giving them these details, this website link and confirming with them it is fraud

  52. Got scammed out of $130 on October 27 trying to buy tickets to a Christian concert in Los Angeles. She/He was very personable and I fell for it. I’m a fool and used chase QuickPay as well, and there is NO protection through QuickPay. I called chase explaining the situation and they stated all they can do is contact the recipient and request they send the money back. What a freaking JOKE! Chase will only give you your money back if it’s fraud, if anyone gets scammed just tell them it was unauthorized.

They used this phone number (256) 225-6813 and went by Riley Wilkins and Angel Barclay. I’m so disappointed in myself for falling for it and Chase for poor customer service.

    1. I’m so sorry Alex, I know how you feel.
Chase was horrible customer service to me too.
Funny they will pay a new customer a bonus for signing up but not for a existing customer for fraud, as this is, 100%

  53. Unfortunately, I didn’t see this post until after I was scammed just last night for 4 tickets to a basketball game in Charlotte, NC. I want to catch these people but just feel stuck at the moment. I used Zelle to pay him/them and don’t feel like I have any real fraud protection. Any advice?

    1. I’m so sorry you didn’t see it in time. Neither did my daughter. We got screwed and chase, zelle or bb&t would help me. I provided their fraud teams with all the information and even this website for extra proof of all of this and not one of the companies did anything to help

  54. So crazy! They just tried to scam me for some Alabama/Georgia tickets. I’m too smart though. Lmao. I know PayPal friends and family isn’t buyer protected so once I said I wouldn’t send it, they got pissed! Little did they know, I’m batshit crazy. So I argued with their broke asses. Even got his stupid ass to send me his location so I know around the area they are in, and a Apple ID that they use. If anyone calls the police let me know and I can send you info about the scammers. Email me cocainenohoney@gmail.com (didn’t want to use my personal email address online). Someone needs to catch these frauds and I have the info to do it! He was really mad when I told him I’ll be whatever he wants to call me, but I’m that WITH my $400 still though. LOL.

      1. Do you think this info can help us somehow? It seems generic, like all the other info we have. I want to help stop this so bad, are you doing anything with this info/can we all band together to help stop them?

  55. Well, no one has ever had a pin dropped I’m assuming. So once he sent me his location, I figured that should be a way to narrow it down. With email addresses being used – some sort of IP address should be able to be obtained. This seems like a serious fraud case that I would think local pd would be interested in 🤷🏽‍♀️

    1. I agree, that make sense, I hope it can help and I want to do anything I can to help too! This has been going on for years now, scamming people out of their hard earned money. A lot, including myself have not recovered the funds lost.

  56. Just scammed me for NYE tickets. (Out of Nashville, TN) the person called me and sounded like a nice person. Said to send payment via Zelle. Then that wouldn’t work so he said to send to his buddy who works for him “WilkinsCateringCo” and RileyWilkins is the cash app name. Got scammed for $120.00.. sad to think ppl do this even close to Christmas.

Phone number they used was.. (256) 225-6813

  57. This loser just tried to sell me Bears-49ers NFL Tickets in Santa Clara, CA on 12/23/18. They called me from (256) 225-6813 and texted me via iMessage from rileysuzanne@mail.com. I texted back requesting proof that they have the tickets in possession and haven’t heard anything. Then I googled the number and saw your post, which definitely saved me some headaches.

Thank you for all the details, looks like this person is still at it 3 years later. If you Google image search their number, you see a picture of someone who might be them from some random social media site. Would love to see them get put away for what they’re doing to all these decent people who aren’t used to dealing with criminals.

  58. Didn’t process payment but generally same story as others here. Tried to sell me tickets and requested payment through Zelle, was very rude and accused me of trying to scam her/him. Additional feedback like this shows up at this site as well: https://findwhocallsyou.com/2562256813?CallerInfo
Hard to believe this person has been getting away with this nonsense for years and has not been prosecuted yet.

    1. Any suggestions how to stop it?
I’ve explored all avenues I could think and no one cares.
My bank or zelle didn’t get my money back.
Sad this person is making a living off of people’s hard earned money

  59. Thanks for this post!!! rileysuzanne@mail.com is now trying to sell Super Bowl tickets in Atlanta. I am grateful for people alerting the internet of these thieves. I am sorry for anyone that has lost money to this person, they are very nasty and start cursing you out in their responses. Hope the cops can do something.

  60. Wish I had seen this before we got scammed out of $600. Riley Wilkins, Suzanne Wilkins were two names associated and a catering business email address. Terribly tricky and convincing. We’ve reached out to our bank and filed fraud alert, so hopefully we get our $$$ back. SO INFURIATING!! If there’s a way to help catch this person, I’m all in for justice.

  61. I was scammed for $300 on 2/11/19 for lift tickets to Vail. Same story as above. She had 4 tickets and wouldn’t be able to make it back in time to use them. She used a sense of urgency, but I didn’t notice it, because I was urgently trying to get the tickets as well (I had posted on Craigslist in search of the tickets). She said she didn’t know what Venmo was and didn’t have Paypal because this online transaction was just a one time thing to make her money back on the tickets. She only had Zelle. She got me in a double scam because once I paid the original $150 for the two tickets, she sent a text and said that Zelle sent me an authorization since it was our first time doing business. I “authorized” it, but it was actually a second $150 payment. She disappeared after receiving both payments. Zelle said to call my bank as they couldn’t do anything. My bank said payment can’t be stopped once it’s authorized and to fill out a police report.

    Zelle: Angel Barclay
    404-543-3813

I’d be happy to join an investigation/class action. I’m thinking many people don’t go to the police with this because they figure the local police won’t do much for $300 here and there and when it is national, the logistics are probably tough on a local level. There must be an online fraud department with the FBI. Looking into it.

  62. Just got scammed out of $130…

should’ve done my research and should’ve known

Has anyone had luck getting a refund? Let me know “she” had me work through the Zelle app. Contacted Zelle they told me to contact my bank. About to do it right now, hopefully I’m able to cancel the payment. Let me know any updates on refunds as far as banks I’m with A+ so hopefully it all works out

  63. The same exact thing just happened to me… and its literally the same number… what is wrong with people these days

    1. I never got a refund. I contacted the police, my bank, zelle and the online fraud fbi portal and no one cares or did a thing about it.
We all need to figure out how to stop this, it’s not fair this douche bag is living off of our honest hard earned money. The money I smgot scammed out of made it so I couldnt make it to my daughters birthday celebration, heartbreaking they are messing with people’s lives like this

  64. It almost happened to me. It was a man going by Riley Wilkins. However, it was not paypal he was using. It was a bank app called Zelle. It was from Eastern Bank. When I wouldn’t send the money he called me and accused me of being the SCAMMER! He called me and was verbally insulting me and threatening me. This guy is not right in the head. Thank you so much for posting this!

  65. I just got hit up for $640 – through Zelle for concert tickets. I fell for it. Used the number (256) 225-6813 to text and communicate with me. And then gave me a different number for their Zelle account – name Riley, phone number (307) 331-9658. I should have caught it there but was so excited to get the sold out tickets. I did some digging on the (256) number and found some personal details via Spokeo on who the most recent owner of that number was. But I am hesitant to post it online, because it may not be the true owner. Traced back to Anniston, Alabama 36201. Also listed a potential relative. Any thoughts on what to do next?

  66. As of 4/04/19, still at it with the ticket scamming, and using the BodyShop gmail and the (256) 225-6813 number. NMacy (Wisconsin)

  67. He tried it just now. 256-225-6813 How do we find this number’s location besides Anniston, AL

  68. Trying to sell Warriors tickets in Oakland rileynichols@mail.com from the same number. Called him out on being a scam and he said “yeah right lmfao, kick rocks” someone please catch this idiot

  69. I just got scammed by this person also. Reported to PayPal and my credit card. She was calling me and telling me I was the scammer because I used Goods and Services after she told me to use Friends and Family. She sent a lot of threatening text messages also. I’m going to file a police report. Used Riley Nichols
    Wilkins.BodyShop1983@Gmail.com
    ‭(256) 225-6813‬

    1. We just got scammed by the same person. It was RileyNichols@mail.com. Googled the name and phone number and was directed here. Same phone number. We didn’t actually pay them, my husband asked for concert tickets in Nashville and as soon as he started making small talk “oh, where are you headed to out of town?” They got aggressive. He got a call from a man saying “oh now I have to ask your permission every time I go somewhere?” And got repeatedly accused of being the scammer. He was being so rude that my husband decided to look elsewhere for the tickets – thank goodness we didn’t send money. We were thinking about filing a police report but aren’t sure how far that will actually get us since we didn’t buy anything. We still changed email passwords and all of that. Ugh, so awful. I hope these people get caught.

  70. They’re still at it as of August 5, 2019 with Outsidelands tickets.
First they contacted me by rileynichols@mail.com then ‭(256) 225-6813‬

Called him out and he got butthurt and started calling me a “broke ass” for not being able to afford being scammed lmao.

  71. Goddamn I just fell for this. This was her number. 2562256813. No idea I should have checked this site.

  72. This person did something similar and asked for “Friends & Family” payment. I asked for a good-faith showing and to send me one ticket first. They had a fit, just like in previous emails. So I finally sent a “Goods & Services” payment and heard nothing back for more than an hour. Finally, I called PayPal to report fraud. They were great and assured me that those fraudulent individuals would not get anything, because the transaction is on hold. Beware of RileyNichols@mail.com and Wilkins.Bodyshop1995@Gmail.com. This was for Def Leppard tickets at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. No worries here, I got buyer protection because I did not send as “Friends and Family” on PayPal.

    1. That’s not him I confronted him in public he’s some black kid. I tracked the number through the FBI Portal and its in Portland Oregon

    1. Debonta Caldwell is his name, check him out on youtube as well under vampz. Instagram account has now been made private

    1. Why has paypal or any other payment provider stopped this. Same thing with Craig’s List.

  73. A comment was submitted today with a Facebook link. For the sake of the investigation please do not put that post on this site and just remove altogether. Thanks

  74. I’m still fighting to try and get my money back. No exactly in a position to have just lost $200.
Chase bank isn’t helpful nor is zelle. I don’t know what else to do 🙁

  75. Contact anniston police department. The more of us that contact them the better. Phone number is 256-238-1800

  76. So this has been dormant a while.. but unfortunately I didn’t find this fast enough. This was for 4 tickets and I’m not sure it’s the same person but can’t be a coincidence that she uses the name Jasmine RILEY in Venmo. She has since deactivated her account. Additionally she used the handle @Morgan-Latrice-4. Phone number: 253-642-2419 and email brickslawncare73@gmail.com.

  77. @vampzgetspaid on Instagram if you wanna see how he’s spending your money.

  78. I posted a Craigslist ad for “WANTED: 2 tickets for the Stevens @ the Hammer” in my city. I got ten responses for the ad saying “I have tickets”. Clear scammers since neither the band not the venue exist and were playing in my city. The names are below in case they try and get other people and these names show up in Google:

    Ky
    Rochelle Siggers
    Official Burningman
    Anthony Munoz
    Kader Pattah
    Brandon Salas
    Nate Smith
    Mardell Jones

  79. HIS name is Debonta Jacolby Caldwell also goes by Vampz Caldwell…. He’s from Lineville, AL but lived in Oxford, AL…. He is the most crooked shallow piece of shit. He had a new woman every month, they probably figure out how terrible of a person he is & leaves his sorry ass.
