A great first day of work

I think the title might be a little deceiving since I spent all day in a Microsoft New Employee Orientation session learning about the company and its AMAZING benefits package. Interesting but not thrilling.

However, I got out at 3:30pm and decided to get my last round of unemployed golf in so I headed across the street to Bellevue Municipal GC and proceeded to have the best front 9 and 18 holes of my life. I shot a +3 39 on the front 9 and finished with a final score of 82. My best round ever. The course is short and not very difficult but I was still ecstatic.

To top it off, on the drive home I came over the 520 bridge and saw the most perfect sunset over the Olympic Mountains. If only I had had my camera I could have shared the beauty of Seattle with you all.

Now off to get some Thai food and prepare for my truly first day tomorrow….. More later.
