Another funny “Pros and Cons” article about the iPhone

So my father went out the other day and bought an iPhone and he loves it. He even switched from Verizon to AT&T to do it. It isnt surprising since the iPhone is definitely targeted at him. Great UI, synchs with Mac and iTunes (both of which he has), and it is pretty damn cool.

All of that being said, when I read this article on the Pros and Cons of the iPhone I had to laugh. Look at how many more Cons there are…

Hi Chris,
I read your post on the recent solution for spaces not found.

I have a favor to ask of you and the Spaces Team. A good friend of mine wrote a blog on Spaces for two years where he chronicled his battled with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig\’s. He died from the disease in April. Shortly thereafter his space "disappeared" and his wife wasn\’t sure how it happened. The URL was onwingedfeet.spaces.live.com and he was a spaces of the week feature. Is there any way you can determine whether his content can be recovered?

Any help or reply is greatly appreciated.

The latest PC magazine had a great report. Summary: slick UI, slow network, hard to type. I had similar impressions when I played with one at the Apple store in U-Village. After two minutes of trying to type; I knew it wasn\’t for me. I\’m hopeful that iPhone will bring SmartPhone goodness to a broader set of middle-to-late adopters, but anyone serious about authoring text (even 160 char TXT\’s) should look at other phones like the Motorola Q, Samsung BlackJack, or Palm Treo. Many of them come on faster networks too. Cheers–
