Friend’s band – Sweet Water – releases new album and video

image A friend of mine – Adam Czeisler —  from my first job out of college used to play in a band in Seattle called Sweet Water.   

He used to regale me with stories about the Seattle music scene back in the grunge days.  Sweet Water even opened for Pearl Jam during the concert where they recorded the famous black and white Alive video.   AND he said that the crowd was rocking out harder for them than for Pearl Jam!!

Well when I moved to Seattle to work for Microsoft, I realized that my friend actually worked for Microsoft as the Development Manager for Windows Live Messenger.   Very small world.   When I asked him about his band, he said that they had just started playing together again and were putting out a new album.   The album is now out and they have a video as well for their single.

Definitely check out their Rock Steady video below and if you like live music, definitely check out there music schedule here.   Just make sure to buy tickets early since they have a pretty die-hard following in Seattle.
