Just confirmed – Alaskan fly fishing trip next summer
Every few years, my father, brother, and I take a big trip somewhere cool. In recent trips, it has been primarily golfing. We went to Ireland in 2002 and to Scotland in 2006.
However, next year we are headed to Alaska on a fly-fishing adventure to the Rapids Camp Lodge. While I have only been fly-fishing once before in my life, I can’t wait for the adventure and to actually learn how to fish from professionals and spend some quality family time in spectacular scenery.
Besides the fishing, there is some new adventure for me as we are going to be taking sea planes from the cabin to the different fishing spots each day. That allows me to cross off another "To Do" on my list. Should be ridiculously fun and slightly insane.
