Don’t call me a winemaker….It’s harder than it looks
On Thursday we had a team offsite where we spent the first part of the morning painting a "team canvas" with acrylic paints.
We then headed down to the Tasting Room in Pike’s Market and did a 6 bottle wine tasting followed by wine blending based off of those six wines. You can see that we had a little bit of fun from the team picture below.
As part of the blending, each of us got to create our own blend and then my co-worker, Pooja, gave us a wine label with the picture of the "team painting" on it to put on the bottle. My blend was 50% Red Mountain merlot, 25% Cabernet, and 25% Malbec. While it isn’t the best thing I have ever tasted, it will be fun to pull it out of my wine fridge in a few years and enjoy my creation!
