A pub crawl and a 12 egg omelette
This past Saturday, I was one of the co-organizers of a pub crawl in the Phinney Ridge area of Seattle. We wanted to check out some of the local bars in the area and also take advantage of a respite from the Seattle rain….. The bar crawl started at 6pm and moved down the following route:

While the primary goal was to check out some of the local bars in the Phinney Ridge area, we also had the intention of making it to late-night in order to eat at one of the country’s most famous late night food places.
The restaurant is called Beth’s Cafe, and it is famous for its 12-egg omelette. While not exactly the healthiest thing out there, it sure tasted good at 2am! Check out the picture of the omelette that I took with my cell phone that night.
P.S. Yes… that is a normal size fork and pieces of toast….
P.P.S No… I didn’t eat the whole thing by myself….
Love Phinney Ridge – I lived up there for 5 years until I moved to Wedgwood a few months ago.
But, dude…Beth\’s? That place is scary and the cleanlines of their kitchen is *VERY* questionable. You must have been pretty drunk by the time you got there 😉

I remember someone saying you need to eat a pound of dirt in your lifetime and I\’m pretty sure some of the rural midwest Diners I\’ve eaten in helped in that cause.
