Xbox “Live Anywhere” is cool

I was talking about this new strategy with a friend of mine at Kellogg who is an avid gamer and worked last summer at EA.  We both agreed that Microsoft’s "Live Anywhere" gaming strategy is going to kick some serious butt if they figure out how to make it seamless and integrated.
 
Picture sitting in a Wifi-enabled coffee shop in Nairobi, Kenya and playing Ghost Recon on your Xbox portable (similiar to PSP) against your friend who is playing on his High-Def Xbox in his living room, while you also play with your friend who is sitting at work and playing on his computer. 
 
Im not even a gamer but that is a compelling scenario to me.  I cant wait to see it in action and I have no doubt that the Xbox team can make it happen given their experience and success developing Xbox 360.  Question is: Can Sony do it better….?  That is for the true gamers to answer!
